WHW is, was and always will be a family business and, like all families, the company has expanded, evolved and welcomed new members.
William H. Wright’s original intention was to manufacture and supply a reasonably priced, good quality acrylic and a range of teeth that would provide for the high demands of NHS dentures and appliances at the time.
Today his sons, daughter and grandchildren, together with a loyal and hardworking workforce, have maintained this concept whilst still adapting and moving with the times. With the family, the factory and stores based in Hull, WHW has progressed over the years to increase its manufacturing capacity as well as its products for resale through its ever growing list of suppliers.
With sales and training based in East Sussex, including a fully equipped laboratory and digital suite, WHW can now offer customers the widest variety of goods and services. Irrespective of our size and the amount of products we sell, we are still governed by the singular and all-encompassing notion that customer service comes first.
Our latest addition as part of our continuing programme of expansion is the new sales and distribution hub in the Midlands. From there we are now able to offer the complete service, delivering the goods that we proudly manufacture.

WHW also prides itself on offering a complete service when it comes to the well-known brands it supplies; we have a fully trained and experienced engineering department capable of servicing and repairing a vast range of equipment. We are a Renfert Approved Repair Centre, carrying out servicing and repairs as well as supplying a full range of parts ensuring that their 10 year part guarantee is honoured.
Our full time Amann Girrbach trained and accredited instructor offers training and support to all of our digital customers, whether in-house or at WHW’s fully equipped lab and digital suite in East Sussex. As a manufacturer of materials and machinery, WHW’s factory in Hull has been supplying dental technicians with reliable, cost effective goods such as the “Inter” range of boilout units, the Centri™ Base range of heat and cold cure acrylics and Centrilux™ and Acrylite teeth for over 50 years. More recently, we have added other contemporary materials such as the massively popular Duplika two-part silicone and Cachet retainer/aligner blanks.
